On the way home, past another old house with no one living in it. Gotta wonder about that one as well, or you do if you are me! There is a story I'm sure!
Some lovely Brown County scenery and up Bear Wallow Road...past finally, one more BARN :)

This barn is just a good one, all the way round. I stopped and chatted with the cows a bit. Hay bales are another favorite of mine. Just something about hay bales scattered or stacked or whatever, they are a very interesting piece of art as well

A storm came about last August and it was a bad one. This was a great old barn, not much left of it now. Still the destruction of that barn in some way, blends in with the landscape and makes it a piece of art in my eyes. Maybe I am starting to learn that there can still be beauty where there has been so much destruction.

I just am so blessed to live in a most beautiful place. We all know how much I love barns, but I also am so intrigued with deserted houses as well. I like to just step back and wonder, what did it look like back in the day? Who lived there, who loved there and who died there? Why is it empty? Anyhow as fall winds down, I took a little jaunt out today to capture what is left. I especially want to thank a friend of mine, for the chance to get a couple of shots of his unique vehicles...

Photos from my neighborhood...

It wouldn't be fall in BC, without Kelps Farm...

The end of my day....I actually took some time for myself today...kinda. These pics are of my journey throughout the day starting out with some breakfast at the BOOT as I worked a bit...a little shopping for a birthday party, with WAY too many tourist and once done, I quickly beat a path OUT of town. A drive to work..and then a drive to the other work, just in time for dusk...

FALL

These are the roads I drive daily...so pretty, in each season, it's breathtaking...soon winter will be upon us... And another opportunity for beauty...that leaves you speechless...

This is my life...where I live. Can't say that I would ever want to be anywhere else. A very huge bit of sadness has come my way since I've been here, which I don't know if I will ever recover from...so very broken and sad am I because of it...but I find my joy in my child and surroundings..my huge network of friends and the best people in the world in one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived. I am truly blessed...daily. So it makes the rest, bearable, at least during the day

This time of year, is my favorite. I can't go anywhere without my camera. I am so excited to attempt to grow some of these spectacular Cocks Combs you see here next year. They line a walkway in Nashville and they are HUGE. They won't let you pick them in the shop where they front, but they will sell the seeds. Guess where I'm going tomorrow?????

That sunflower is right there on the edge of the parking lot, where in the height of TOURIST season, my buddy Rodger let me park today for only 2.00 while all those other folk paid 4.00 :)

Most of these other pics are just my drive to work every day....well, they all are. That church and that particular funky tree are just down the road from one job. That tree intrigues me, obviously. If I could have laid on the ground to get a shot of that tree in it's funky entirety, I would have. But I would have been laying on a grave, so I decided not to.

The sunset and the cows, were on my way to do some work at St David's. The last three shots are from St David's, just as dusk fell.

More coming I'm sure. I live in the Fall Capitol of the Midwest, so I am carrying my camera with me everyday now....
